For over 45 years we’ve been fulfilling the needs of 100 Mile, Quesnel, Williams Lake and Bella Coola. We are family-owned and operated and have been in the same location we opened in. Bruce Mattson took over Sta-Well Health Foods in 1977. He built the store up into the fantastic place that it is today. Full of love and laughter, Bruce had a generous heart. He visited with everyone who walked through the store door, whether they were paying customers or just friends looking to chat. He loved the Cariboo-Chilcotin and Bella Coola Valley. If you couldn’t find him in the store, he was often out on a lake fishing or spending time with his daughters. We lost Bruce on Christmas Eve 2020, but his spirit remains at the store in the staff, customers and family that loved him. Sta-Well Health Foods is still family-operated, and we look forward to including you in the Sta-Well family and helping you with any of your health and wellness-centred needs.
